Gong xi fa cai, fa tian cai~! I can't believe it's already Chinese New Year, I don't feel any excitement though. I remember Chinese New Year being an event I looked forward to. It was always fun because it's 3 days of public holiday, and you get to eat tons of good food, not to mention the red packets that will be given and the money that's put into the bank later on. Then there's all the colourful decor and lights that will be put up along the roads...
Can't really feel that excitement anymore though. Maybe it's because I'm no longer as interested in the pretty colours and collection of red packets. Of course, money is nice to have, but I lost the thrill of collecting them from relatives I see only once a year. Haiis..
Oh well, went to church today. A chinese pastor came to preach on how we as Christians can celebrate Chinese New Year. There were a few good points that is stuck in my head. He even shared how we can reach out to our relatives without seeming religious and all that.
I am seriously unlucky to have my period come today man. During the sermon I had bad cramps and it got worse after service. I skipped lunch and napped at home so I won't feel the pain. Ugh... It's not so bad now, but it's not gone either. =S Haiiis.
I shall be off now. Dad's opening the house to Poiemians from 10.30am onwards. I think we'll figure out some place to meet and bring the lot of you over. Please bring movies and games. Otherwise, it'll be quite boring. Haha. See you guys on Tuesday then =) Toodles.
